People at Work

I am currently working on a series of paintings for my first solo exhibition at the Grohmann Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, opening May 3 and running through August 22, 2027.

The exhibition will feature more than twenty new paintings centered on the theme of people at work. Throughout my life, I have been fascinated by the dignity, skill, and character found in everyday labor. Whether working with their hands, their minds, or both, people have always been at the heart of the stories that most inspire me as an artist.

It is especially meaningful to present this body of work at the Grohmann Museum, home to the world's most comprehensive art collection dedicated to the evolution of human work. My hope is that these paintings will honor the men and women whose efforts, often unnoticed, help shape our communities and enrich our daily lives.
